Thanks for checking out my website. I am global educator, visual artist and avid traveler. A long-time Venice, CA resident, I currently divide my time between Asia, and Central America and Asheville, NC. I’m fascinated with the nature of language  (visual and verbal) and the dreamlike quality of memories, so I attempt to capture the story and emotion behind each of my paintings and photographs. 

When recovering from a health issue several years ago, I began to paint from photos of the Camino de Santiago, which I had walked the previous year. Being rather trapped in my small Venice apartment, spending time in those landscapes was like slowly walking through them again and gave me the opportunity to reflect on some of the many lessons from that journey.

Much of my current work with mandalas is part of an extended spiritual and gratitude practice and used as a meditation tool. I hope the work reflects all of that beautiful, healing energy!
